    Importing NinjaScript Errors

    Hello. I am getting an error when attempting to import a strategy that I have created and exported myself.

    The code is working perfectly. I can successfully export the strategy using NinjaTrader's Export Tool. However, if I try to immediately import the zip file, I get the following error:

    Import Failed. The NinjaScript Archive File may contain duplicate method names that already exist on your PC or there is a required file missing on either your PC or the import archive.

    Taking a look at the trace file, I see the following 2 errors (~~~ is used to obscure personal info):

    2014-02-18 14:35:42:481 c:\Users\~~~~~\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Tmp\Import\Strategy\~~~Strategy.cs CS1501 No overload for method 'CCI2' takes '3' arguments
    2014-02-18 14:35:42:481 c:\Users\~~~~\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Tmp\Import\Strategy\~~~~Strategy.cs CS1501 No overload for method 'CCI_EMAv2' takes '2' arguments

    The 2 files listed are custom indicators. However, the methods with the specified parameters are available in the NinjaScript generated code section of the Indicator files, so these particular methods are available (Code wouldn't compile if they weren't).

    Any idea what is going on here? Does the Generated Code get packaged in the zip file from the Export tool, or is it generated on import?

    Are you exporting the files as source files or as a protected assembly?
