IB connection error: Can't find registry key 'Trader Workstation'

I have IB workstation, revision 943.2a. NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.21.

After I configured both IB and NJ per video, when I try to connect I got the following errors:

Login failed: IB.Adapter.StartTws: can't find registry key 'Trader Workstation'


What should I do? Thanks.

Thank you for your post.

Can you please close NinjaTrader NinjaTrader and TWS. Next please open TWS first then after logging into TWS please open NinjaTrader then attempt to connect.

Still have the same problem after close both -> open TWS -> login to TWS -> open NJ -> login NJ -> connect failed the same way.

With the current version of NinjaTrader, it is critical that you use TWS version 938.1. Please uninstall your existing version via the Windows Control Panel, and then install 938.1 via the following link:

http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrader/TWS/tws40_install_938_1.exe

Once TWS 938.1 has been installed, please open TWS ensure that the configuration in our Connection Guide for TWS has been completed.

It works now after using 938.1 TWS.
But now I have a different issue, every a 20-30 seconds, TWS asks me to provide user/password to relogin. Sounds like I have some other configuration issue?
