    ATM if my connection is lost

    Hello,

    I'm new to NinjaTrader and use the ATM (a basic custom Stop Loss and Profit target) to manage my trades.

    I read what orders in a state "Accepted" or "Working" are at the exchange, so...

    When an order is executed, I have Profit and Stop in working/accepted state. But what happened if internet connection gets cut?

    For example: the price goes to Stop, the ProfitTarget will be deleted although if I don't have connection?

    Thanks for your reply.

    This will depend on who you are connected to. To have the order get canceled even though you are disconnected you would need to be connected to a provider who supports server side OCO.

      Hello, thanks for your reply.

      I am connected to Mirus/Continuum
      but I have not clear if my broker supports this server side OCO.

        Continuum does support server side OCO however please read the disclaimer from at the bottom of the page in the following link.

          I am with AMP/CQG and they support server side OCO. I placed an order with 3 tick target/stop loss in sim account. Target and stop loss orders were placed and I disconnected ninja. However when I reconnected, orders were executed at a price above stop loss.
          It was my understanding that OCO server orders will get executed, in the event of disconnection?

          Can someone please clarify how this works?

            Hello ArbTrader,

            Thanks for writing in.

            When you place orders to the sim101 account these reside on your computer and NinjaTrader must be running for them to function.

              Thanks for quick reply. Live OCO order placed with AMP/CQG should execute, even in the event of internet disconnection?
