    Chart Trader Question

    How can I get my ATM stop loss order and profit target orders to show on the chart when I'm using a stop to enter the trade. I would like to see all three orders on the chart. Is that possible?

    Hello Gennaker,

    Unfortunately this is not supported. Only when your entry order fills, it will submit the stop loss and profit target orders which will then appear in the chart. It is not possible to display all three orders at the same time in the chart.

      Jason,

      I guess I can live with them not showing up on the chart. The only thing that concerns me is how to verify if my stop loss and profit target orders are active. How do I verify active orders?

        Hello Gennaker,

        Thanks for your reply.

        You can check the order within the Orders tab of the Control Center.
        Look under the Strategy ID section to verify that an ATM Strategy is associated to the order.

          Chart Trader Question

          Another question on Chart Trader. At one time I could right click anywhere on the chart and some options would come up to place several types of orders at whatever price I happened to click. How can I get these right click options back again?

            Hello,

            Please right click in the chart and select Properties. Ensure that the Show Chart Trader property is set to True then click OK. After making this change you should find the order options which you mentioned within the right click menu.

              I changed the properties to Show Chart Trader as true, but still am not seeing the right click order options as available.

                Hello,

                What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)
                Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
                What instrument have you selected?
                (For a chart) what interval is selected?
                Is data updating within the chart or is last price static?

                Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

                  Hello Kyle,

                  I'm using NT 7.01000.21.
                  I'm connected to both Kinetick and Interactive Brokers.
                  I'm following GC-04-14 on 240 min chart.
                  This chart was active at one time but is now static as with all other charts.
                  Not seeing any error messages in the log or elsewhere

                    Hello,

                    Please select GC 04-14 in the Orders tab of the Control Center window. Do you see updates to bid, ask and last price or is 'n/a' shown in these fields?

                    Which build of Interactive Brokers TWS are you using? (Help > About Trader Workstation)

                    Which of the two connections do you connect to first?
