Fixed y scale that adjusts to the price

I like using a fixed point scale so that bar sizes stay the same, but I can only find an option to fix the y scale, which doesn't track the price. Is there a way to use a fixed point scale that adjusts to the price?

Edit: Tried to edit the title, but didn't work. The title should be "Fixed point scale that adjusts to the price.", not y scale.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

When using the Fixed feature within the chart are you using this to keep the price centered or possibly to keep the bars a certain distance from the top or bottom?

I'm using it to keep bar sizes the same, so that a 1 point bar is the same height no matter what part of the chart you are looking at. When the scaling is set to automatic that 1 point bar can either be a few mm or several cm, depending on the y range, which I find distracting.

Thank you. I just found a similar request from 2011: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...d.php?p=260042

That one was forwarded to the devs as well under number 871. I guess nothing came of that?

Could the desired result be accomplished by using the automatic mode if it were set to current price rather than price range? Assuming it could be programmed to current price, of course.

Unfortunately this currently cannot be accomplished using the automatic scaling feature.

                  This might work.
