    Periods in performance

In case you are not yet aware. Seems your date function is only reading the day's date and not month or year. So days are mixed in different months.

    Period

    04/01/2006

    09/01/2006

    11/01/2006

    12/12/2005

    13/01/2006

    13/12/2005

    14/12/2005

    15/12/2005

    16/12/2005

    17/01/2006

    18/01/2006

    19/12/2005

    20/12/2005

        See screenshot above.

This is taken from the Performance page under the PERIODS section. If you check the dates you will see 2005 and 2006 get mixed up.

Just check the day's dates. You will see that the month's get mixed up. I have a private VB logbook and the first date at the top is the first day of trading and last date at bottom is last day's trading. This has worked well for many years.

Right. That's how it's implemented right now, since this column holds plain strings (check out the other "Period" options and you will see) and strings are sorted by their charaters.

However, put on the list for future considerations.

OK Thanks, here is a weekly period and you can see it jumps from one year to next and back. Bit confusing to work with.
