Using NT with IB --- Why is my entry price displayed as a little worse on NT?
Hey NT team -- just a quick question with a picture for an example. Below is a trade I entered. I used a buy stop above bar 40 and I got filled at 187.58 according to IB (thin tan line). However NT shows the entry price as 187.63.
Is NT trying to factor in commissions or something? Thanks in advance.Last edited by lllusion; 03-04-2014, 12:11 PM.Tags: None

Yes it does. That's pretty neat. I prefer it that way.
Another question:
Now I'm .02 above the NT entry area, but it says I'm -.02 as seen above. My assumption was that the average price area would be the 0 point. Why is it at -.02 when it's 2 cents higher?
Thanks as always for the fast and very helpful support.Last edited by lllusion; 03-04-2014, 12:45 PM.

Thanks Vince. I usually just use the points but I've been curious about the percentage one. I still don't really understand the concept behind it. I don't get what it would mean if I got to 100% on it, etc. Can you explain it a little further, like you were explaining it to a child? haha..
Why would it be useful to use the percentage over points?
