ES Historical Data Mar 10 2014

    ES Historical Data Mar 10 2014

    6:10 am NY time. ES Historical Data still not logging.
    Historical Data Manager | DownLoad Begin Date 3/6/2014 to End Date 3/10/2014 gets Last Friday and nothing since Sunday Night.


    Historical Data Manager | Edit | ES 03-14 | Minute = no entry for 3/10/2014 or Sunday 3/9/2014

    Hello,

    Thanks for the post.

    Are you connected to CQG by any chance? If so, there are issues with the ES, 6B and CL contracts where historical data is missing from Friday 3/7 5:00 PM Eastern until the moment you connect.

    Once we receive an update on this we will let you know.

        And a few other instruments it seems. From your accounts elsewhere this could take a week to fix (i.e. data to be restored next weekend)!

        There are various threads about this ( example 1 | example 2 etc and a different connection problem I had was probably related to this). Several people seem to be affected but as you are stating elsewhere that this thread is the one you're going to update when the problem is resolved, I am going to follow this thread.

          Still nothing. Hopefully this can be resolved sooner rather than later. Usually pretty dependable.

              bce111, you started that thread three days ago. At the time you were told, effectively, "turn it off and turn it back on again".

              58 hours after your original post, NT accepted through Kyle that there was a server problem.

              Was it the same issue Kyle was reporting back on, or this is something new and not related to your original post on March 7th?

                Same issue. The other reason this particular thread is irrelevant is that it's not just ES. We should use the original thread which has more people involved.

                  We received an update that the data servers are recording data again, however we will not be able to restore the missing data until this coming weekend. Next Monday this will be available again.

                      Thanks, Vince. What was the problem? Did you mean the historical data will be okay now, it will work today and for the rest of the week? But the historical data from this morning won't be available til next weekend?

                        If you can't put it on your server for 5 to 7 days, can an export of the missing data be posted here, so we can import it ourselves via the Historical Data Manager? Would that work? At least for the minute data?

                          The historical data will be available again after next weekend.

                          As for the cause, our server development team is working with the parties involved to determine what exactly caused this.

                              Thanks. What I'm asking though is if the historical data for each day will work this week. When I log in tomorrow will the historical data from tonight show up in the charts? Or are you saying we won't have any historical data for any of the days this week for the rest of the week and that the charts will only track data from when we log in each day this week?
