In placing a 'bracketed' order, i.e., simultaneous stop-loss and target, my only option appears to be to call a pre-determined ATM strategy.
However, at the time of trade entry, I need these values to be calculated, at that moment, based on several market parameters, such as ATR (average true range). So:
1. Is there an OIF command or .client command to do this?
2. If not, is there a way for my external program to read, then AMEND the stop-loss and target prices that were placed with the ATM strategy?
3. If the above are not available, then ?? are my options?
It sure seems that this capability should be part of automated trading.....
(Is it possible for my application to 'find' the ATM strategy if located on my machine, open it, amend it, close it, then call it???)
Thank you.
