Charts Frozen

    Charts Frozen

    All the charts for CL 05-14 are frozen. Everything was fine until I rolled over the CL charts to the May contract. Now the CL charts are frozen even though the DOM is working. ES and NQ charts are good but CL charts don't move. Please advise.

    My TF 06-14 chart isn't updating itself. I have to click on it to see the latest price. Same with CL BTW.

    Another issue day after day.

      Hello Babba,

      Can you tell us the following:
      - Who are you connected to? Check the green box in the lower left corner of the control center
      - What happens when you right click in the chart--> Reload all historical data?
      - Is there an error message in the log tab of the control center?
      - Are you using V7.0.1000.22? You can check under Help--> About

        Sorry to hear.

        Are there any error messages listed in the log tab?

        Please send an email from within the software under Help--> Mail to support and make sure to have Log and Trace checked.
        Furthermore, refer to this post and put in the subject 'For Vince'.

          Connected to CQG,
          The connection box is green.
          Right clicking the chart gives me the standard draw, indicators etc. menu it works fine.
          I have not reloaded historical data.
          I don't have V22 update. I should do that. Do I need to exit the program to update to V22?

              Now I'm trying to download V22 but I get no response when I click the download button for the current version. Please advise.

                Babba,

                Yes, please close the software and then upgrade from here:


                After the upgrade please reset your instruments by going to Tools--> Options--> Data tab--> Reset Instruments.

                When done connect again and see if the CL has all the data.

                  Did you enter your license on the following page?


                  Can you otherwise use a different browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

                    I restarted the software and now it seems okay. But this was just another issue to deal with which seems to happen almost daily these days.

                        Hello Babba,

                        When you downloaded the software on your machine, were you logged in as the admin on your computer and are you logged in as an admin now?

                        When you're logged in as the admin, can you create a new admin user account, restart the pc and then try the download again with the new admin account.

                          Problems solved. It was my antivirus software blocking the download. Disabled it and it downloaded and installed fine. Reset the instruments and now all charts working fine. Thank you for all the help.
