Market Analyser to (send) Chart

When I send an instrument to chart via Market Analyser there are these 2 clear problems


1. Always starts opening Minute Chart. I want it to be Day or Week
2. The indicators are Overlayed, which they should not be

Thank you for your post.

1.) Unfortunately, this is not possible to change in NinjaTrader's current version. A change to allow a default to other bar types is something which our development staff is considering for future versions however.

2.) Are the indicators supposed to display in seperate panels? Which indicators are applied?

Yes indicators are expected to be show in a different panel

Which indicators are applied and which panels are these indicators set to display in? I would like to test using a more similar setup here to see if I can recreate these results as I have not yet been able to do so.

Add an RSI indicator on Chart
Set the template as default
Close the Chart
Go to Market Analyser
Right click and send the Instrument to Chart
You would see that the RSI indicator is overlaid on the chart, instead of being in a separate panel

I was able to recreate the behavior here.

I am in contact with our development team to learn more about this behavior and will update this thread as more information becomes available.
