    Compressed chart

    Hello,
    I have compressed data on my CL 4-14 charts. I have opened a 2 range, 4 range, and 8 range. I have full and uncluttered data on my 2 range, but the 4 and 8 are missing data from yesterday. I tried building a new chart, but had the same results. Any suggestions?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you please right click within your chart and select "Reload all historical data". If the issue persists can you tell me what data provider you are connected to within NinjaTrader.

      Thank you for responding Christopher. I should have mentioned that I'd tried to reload the historical data. That doesn't work. Also my data is the dreaded CQG. I could try a new contract month, but I still hold a position for April.

        I have tested CQG and was able to view data from yesterday. Can you please open a new chart with no template or indicators applied.

        If the data is still missing from yesterday please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris Jameson" in the subject line.
        In the message, please include the following:

        1.) A link to this forum thread.
        2.) Your most current trace and log files.

        You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7-> Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

        Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt

          Chris I've been playing around with this on my own. I had my "Days to load" at 45 for the 4 and 8 range charts and only 10 days for the 2 range chart. I changed the days to load to 10 for the 8 range chart and everything was right. I increased the days to 29 before I again lost yesterdays data. Might this simply be an issue with contract expiration? Although I've never had this issue before.

            Please reset your instruments with the steps I have provided below:
            • Disconnect
            • Tools
            • Options
            • Data tab
            • Reset Instruments
            • Restart NinjaTrader
            • Remove CL 04-14 from your Default instrument list and add it back in
            • Reconnect
            • Open a new CL 04-14 chart
