    Charts And SuperDOM Frozen But Connection Still in Tact

    Hi, Guys

    The last few minutes my charts and the price ladder in the SuperDOM are frozen but it says I'm still connected. I'll try to disconnect and reconnect and see if that helps. I've had a good internet connection all along. Maybe I can send the trace and log files and you can see what's up.

    Now it's freed itself and everything is fine. This is without disconnecting and reconnecting.

    Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris S" in the subject line.
    In the message, please include the following:

    1.) A link to this forum thread.
    2.) Your most current trace and log files.

    You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7-> Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

    Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt

      I was looking at the trace file and found this which may explain it.

      2014-03-19 08:29:40:781 (AMP - CQG - Live) CQG.Adapter.OnConnectionQualityChanged: serviceName='SecBuf' quality=Slow
      2014-03-19 08:39:31:906 (AMP - CQG - Live) CQG.Adapter.OnConnectionQualityChanged: serviceName='SecBuf' quality=Normal

        Hello bce111,

        This would indicate a connection issue.

        Likely, you experienced some latency between you and the CQG servers.

          Thanks. Seemed okay but it says it was slow. But it didn't disconnect, it just froze up. It's been okay lately. Oh, well.

            Just one last question. In my haste I misspelled "intact". I tried to correct it. Are we not allowed to edit the title of a thread? Thanks.

              You cannot edit tread titles. Only the post within.
