    Incorrect Data Display

Please check BF.B instrument using Kineticks or Yahoo or Google

I don't know why this is showing a price as high at $90 in 2012 for this stock, when it actually never went that high in that year. Check on Monthly Chart

Also if you switch to yearly chart, you would see that the high never went above $71

Below is the link of the company. You can check the historical stock there as well.

Surprisingly, suddenly after switching from monthly to yearly and then back, it started showing correct data

Ok! Both Google and Yahoo were giving wrong data.

      Kineticks gave the correct data

        Hello tahseen,

Thank you for your forum post.

As I test on my end, I can confirm your results.

I have attached a screenshot of my BFB chart on Google showing the price going over 90.00 in 2012.

As I test Kinetick End of Day (Free), I do not see the price ever going past 90.00. I have also attached a screenshot of the Kinetick chart.

Which means Google is providing wrong data and so is Yahoo

          Kineticks is correct

I have started using Kintecks end of the day. But I find it slow when using Market Analyser. Is it that if I take subscription service it would be faster?

I have 8Mbps link, so internet speed is not an issue. Which means Market Analyser is receiving data slowly from Kineticks

            Hello tahseen,

Thank you for the follow up.

What symbol map value are you using for BFB on Yahoo? I would like to test further on my end to see if we can update any Splits or Dividends and re-test.

In regards to Kinetick End of Day (Free) in conjunction with the Market Analyzer, since this data feed will update once per day it will not be very effective to use in the Market Analyzer.

If you subscribe to a real-time Kinetick data feed, the Market Analyzer would update with each new tick that it received.

I look forward to assisting you further.

I checked. Cash dividends were given but point is that the price never went to $90 before the cash dividends.

I know Kinetick would give tick data on subscription but I wanted to know if their data providing speed is also fast. At least compared to Google, Kinetick is populating Market Analyser very slowly

                Hello tahseen,

Thank you for the follow up.

The speed in which you receive data from Kinetick will depend on how fast the servers in between are responding and routing requests. Usually you will be able to receive the data within milliseconds although there are situations that can increase the latency on the connection such as servers or routers in between undergoing maintenance or unexpected down time.

                  Hello tahseen,

After I perform an update on the splits and dividends on the BFB equity while connected to Yahoo, the price update to never go over 90.00

First, enable the options to adjust for Splits & Dividends:
                  • Control Center > Tools > Options...
                  • Data tab
                  • Check "Adjust for splits" and "Adjust for dividends"
                  • Click OK when finished.

Make sure you are only connected to Yahoo:
                  • Control Center > Tools > Instrument Manager
                  • Type the instrument name into the Name field > Click Search
                  • Double left mouse click on the Instrument name from the grid below and the Instrument Editor window will open
                  • Click the "Misc" tab and then click the "Update Splits & Dividends" button at the bottom.
                  • Click OK when finished.
                  • Disconnect from Yahoo and reconnect to your data feed.
                  • Right mouse click on your chart > Reload all historical data

We have a video on Splits & Dividends on our YouTube Channel:
