    missing data

    Continuum
    ZN 6/14 contract

    On a 1440 chart I am missing data from 1/27/14 - 1/31/14. Then it starts the next bar at 2/3/14. I reloaded historical data from continuum, and nothing changed. Three days ago the data was on the chart properly. I have the data on a tick chart for the week missing on the 1440 chart, however.

    Please advise.

    Thank you for your post.

    The NinjaTrader historical data servers experienced an issue which prevented data from being recorded. Our team is working to restore that data right now and as I understand it this is likely to be available again tomorrow morning at the latest.

      When I am connected to my data provider, why is NT pulling any data from the NT historical servers?

          This does not answer my question. If I am connected to my data provider, why do NT servers have anything to do with the data I pull from the data provider?

            Hello,

            The Continuum data connection uses NinjaTrader's data servers as a source of historical data.

            The issue we've discussed today is unrelated to the other thread which you have linked to however I understand that the result is similar.

                Hello. The above was posted on 3/30/14. On a 1440 chart I am still missing data from 1/27/14 - 1/31/14.

                Are you telling me this data issue will not be resolved?

                  Hello,

                  The data appears to be available here when I request the same data set you mentioned while connected to Kinetick. Please right click in your chart and select the Reload All Historical Data option.

                    I connected to kinetick (EOD) and brought up the chart mentioned but no data for the missing week. Reload Historical Data was greyed out.

                      Hello,

                      I'm afraid that I mistakenly typed Kinetick when I had intended to type the name of your actual data provider, Continuum. Please reload data while connected to Continuum.

                        It is presently 9 15 pm in Arizona, and I am unable to connect to continuum. After sitting there for a few minutes it finally connected.

                        But no, the data is still no there.
