Help needed for New Chart Type (Custom Candles)

Hi,

I want to create a new types of candle chart. The requirements are as follows :

A candle is closed either "N" number of contracts get traded or "M" seconds have passed since the open of the candle, whichever is earlier.

So it is custom time vs volume candles.

I have the tick data with me.

Can anyone help me in the right direction ?

sgeesala, this would be technially possible through creating a custom barstype, but this would unfortunately not be an item we can support. To get started in that area you could check into the @BarsTypes.cs file located in your bin > custom > type folder, this will contain the default bars types.
