    Hello 400396,

You will need to rename the text file to just EURUSD to import it into NinjaTrader. You would not need the $ symbol in front of it.

While it shows up as an available instrument in the master list, I think you need to add it to the list column on the left. Below the instrument are two arrow icons, one pointing to the list column and the other pointing away, you need to click the one that points to the left and that will add EURUSD to your list. Once that is done, close the instrument manager and try the import again.

    Importing Tips
Please review the following before importing:

    • If you are importing historical data for a futures or forex instrument, the instrument MUST exist in the Instrument Manager. If it does not, you must add it first
    • Any data imported where the instrument does not exist in the Instrument Manager will automatically be imported as a "Stock" instrument type
    • Data points will be rounded to the instruments tick size as it is imported if the price is not evenly divisible by the instrument's tick size
    • Imported data, regardless of time zone, will be converted to the local time zone.

Did you already have $EURUSD in your instrument manager list?

    Hello Avi,

Unfortunately this is not supported. You can manually import historical data as per the instructions at the link below.
