    Forex.com lot size changed??

    Hi,

I've been trading Forex through NinjaTrader and Forex.com (Gain) for a couple of years now with few issues. The entire time I've used Forex.com, opening a single contract on any currency pair meant buying 10,000 units of the currency in question (and selling the equivalent of the other).

However this week I've found that entering 1 contract now only amounts to 1,000 units, i.e. one tenth of what it has always been.

Can anybody shed any light on this? Has Forex.com restructured their lot sizes and not told me? All I can say is thank goodness they reduced it by a factor of 10 and not increased it by that amount.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your note.

With Forex.com/GAIN the 1 contract would use the lowest amount your account was enabled to trade. In this case it sounds like it was previously 10,000 units.

Most likely there was a change to the account on the brokerage side, you may want to contact Forex.com/GAIN for more information.
