    Stock Decimal Places in the ATI

    Is there any way to increase the number of decimal places NT7 uses with the ATI (or in general)?

    In simulation mode yesterday, it showed that I had purchased a stock at $0.37 and exited at $0.38, but in reality those prices were never touched, the simulator was just rounding above or below $0.375. Also, the ATI MarketData function returns two decimal numbers and ATM strategies round to two decimals when using percentages.

    I found this thread regarding decimal places, but it doesn't seem to be applicable to the ATI:

    HumbleMe,

    Thank you for your note.

    You need to first determine the minimum flux of the stock in question. With that you can then change the Instrument settings to change the TickSize.

    Tools -> Instrument Manager...
    Select the instrument from the middle search and click Edit
    Change the TickSize Value to represent that flux.

    Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      The thing is, I'm not using instruments from the instrument manager. This is all done 'on-the-fly' via the ATI. Symbols aren't mapped in the instrument manager when using the ATI.

      I did a test to see if adding the symbol to the instrument manager and changing the TickSize would have an effect on getting the ask value via ATI but it didn't. It does, however, show more decimal places in the NT command center.

        HumbleMe,

        Where are you sending the orders from, and where are they being sent to through NT?

        What Instruments are you using?

        Please send me your log and trace files

        You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

        Please reference the following ticket number in the subject of the email: ATTN Cal and mention this thread in the body.
