    How to set ATM to live upon setup?

    Everytime I open Ninja, everything resets to SIM. how can I make it such that when it starts up, the interface is actually linked to my brokerage account?

    Hello Cigarist,

    It is not possible to launch NinjaTrader with your live account selected at start up. Simulation Mode is selected by default as a safety precaution to ensure that you do not accidentally place an order to your live trading account.

    You will need to either manually connect to your broker or select your live account manually when starting NinjaTrader.
    For either options, first go to Tools > Options > Simulator Tab and uncheck the ‘Always start in Simulation’ box and then select ‘OK’.

    To disable the connect on start up feature for any of your connections you must first go to Tools > Account Connections, select the connection and click ‘Change’. Then in the Connection Wizard select ‘Next’ and uncheck the box ‘Connect on start up’ and click ‘Next’ > ‘Next’ and the select ‘Finish’.

    When NinjaTrader is launched and you connect to your broker, the accounts will now load in alphabetical order.

      but what I am saying is even when I manually connect to my live accounts on startup at the command centre, the interface on the ATM is still at SIM, until I manually switch the account from SIM to live.

      Is this just the way it is?

          I manually connect my connections. I connect first to Kinectick, then to my brokerage account-Continuum.

                Character would refer to the symbol, letter or number that the live trading account begins with.

                  It writes Connected-Continuum.

                  The user name for Continuum starts with a numerical number.

                    Hello Cigarist,
