    Stop Limit Orders

OK, so I don't use a mouse, hence don't have a centre wheel or button.

How, on a laptop, do I enter stop limit orders?

Why do I even have to ask?

    Hello jparrie,

It is strongly recommended to use a mouse that has a left and right click button along with a scroll wheel/middle mouse button.

You might be able to configure your two button mouse to emulate a middle mouse button through your PC’s Control Panel (settings) thought it is our experience that this ‘workaround’ is not ideal.

he Chart Trader will allow for the placement of Stop Limit Orders through right clicking a chart with the Chart Trader open.

If you are not using a mouse at all, then you will need to use so-called Basic Entry. As a reference, here is a response that I gave to another poster earlier.

I just wanted to come to this because I think the same. To submit a stop order I have to not only see where price is on the chart and make a quick decision on how I want to enter, but then I need to work out if I am above or below current price and whether or not I need to change my fingers and press control.

It seems that being a fast active trader in the DOM is an oxymoron with Ninja. Its poor design that should have been rectified long ago in my opinion. Its unusable in a fast market - its simply clunky and its UX only detracts from the job of helping the trader - in this regard it does everything but help.

So far 75% of my losing trades using the DOM have been to inadvertently forgetting I need to jump through hoops to submit an order.

        Crazy.
