Loading Chart

when I try to load Market Replay Data for some day of May 2013, the price is not appearing on the chart.
What can I do?

What is the From and To dates set to in the Market Replay Controller?

If you right click on the Market Replay Controller -> Available data. Do you see data for the ES 03-13 or ES 06-13?

Hello,

I'm trying to replay: 24 June 2013, 25 June 2013, 13 May 2013, 27 May 2013, 15 July 2013 (which is from 09-13 and it can not to replayed also).

The From and To dates set to in the Market Replay Controller are these who I try to replay.

On the Market Replay Controller -> Available data I see 06-13 and 09-13.

Right click on Market Replay controller -> Available Data.

Do you see the ES 09-13 data listed for that date?

Can you change your charts to ES 09-13 and replay this date?

I change my chart to ES 09-13 but I can't replay this date. It is not loading any graphics.

Can you set the time to a period such as the market open and then play the data?

The market opens at 00:00h, but by default the market unfolding automatically starts at 07:00h. When I play a replay the first bars began about 10:00h.

For example if I have downloaded data for: 24th,25th,26th,27th and 28th June and try to start the 26th June, the chart do not upload the data for the previous days (24th and 25th).

I have attached the chart to be more clearly.

Thank you for the update.

What time zone are you in?

Also, the bars are starting at the 7:00 bar, the indicators do not start plotting until they have enough data, which appears to be about 20 bars.

Hello,

Market Replay Data is recorded in US Eastern time.

To receive more Historical Chart data, you will need to connect to your Live Data provider and open a chart for the period and expiry that you wish to run Market Replay.

Not all data providers will support Tick data back as far as June 2013.

I have the same problem with every chart that I try to load. For example, I have downloaded data for 21th, 22th, 23th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th April 2014. When I try to load 29th April (the From and To dates in the Market Replay Controller are set to: From 29-Apr-14 To 29-Apr-14) no information is loaded for the previous days, first bars on the charts are from 29th April.

Hello,

Have you connected to your live data provider and loaded a Historical Data chart for that date?

Keep in mind that Historical Chart Data is different than Market Replay Data.

Market Replay Data is specifically designed for forward playback. Because you have the data downloaded for other days does not mean that the chart will backfill with Historical Chart Data.

I don't understand what Historical Chart Data mean and accordingly what is the difference between Historical Chart Data and Market Replay Data.
And how when I load some day, the chart automatically backfill the previous days?
