data series won't update live

    data series won't update live

    hello & good day. i switched from CQG data to rithmic, same broker, etc...
    NT starts fine and loads whatever security i try to, but it won't update from there. it displays intraday data, just won't update moving forward. already deleted cache while NT was shut down and restarted, didn't help. thank you for your help on this matter.

    Hello johnnymustard,

    Please disconnect from CQG, reset the instruments and restart NinjaTrader.

    To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

        Hello johnnymustard,

        What instrument(s) have you selected?

        What contract month?

        Do you receive real time data for this instrument in the Orders tab of the Control Center or in a SuperDOM?

          Christopher, i primarily trade the emini s&p but will trade several other contracts as well. i use the ## instead of an actual contract month. and being friday night after the close, the orders tab in the control center isn't updating because the markets closed. im not sure if it was or not, didn't think to check that. thank you, JM

            Christopher, the market being open @ 1am EST on sunday night, the orders tab in the command center has n/a listed for bid, ask, last, open, high, low. the ES chart opened displaying the correct time but isn't updating. please advise further. thank you, JM

              Hello,

              Can you send an email from within the software under Help--> Mail to support.
              Make sure to check the Log and Trace when you send it over. Refer to this post and put in the subject 'For Vince'.
