NT goes nuts everytime IB is closed.

Hi,
I have a major issue with my NT and IB.

Whenever IB is manually closed. NT Basically goes nuts. I have around 10 strategies that hang up. They remain highlighted in green while at the same time there is no connection or whasoever.

When I close NT and relaunch it, I need to re-enable all my strategies. When I do son, the strategies do not recalculate the realized and unrealized profits/losses properly....which basically means I lose all the data...so restarting NT is not an option.

In addition when I re-enable the strategies, they make new orders (due to the fact that they do not realize the already made entries)..and this result in a further mess.

Not sure if this could be due to the strategies trying to make a market order outside of trading session (pre-market in this case), but the important thing is that the strategy does not record the very same order it just placed..or tried to place. Even if its order is denied, it should be able to see that, right?

I am on the brink of cancelling my NT susbsciption as I don't find it reliable enough.

All the wizards, simulation, and charting features are great...but what point if I can't rely on it. One single disconnection and I risk all m money.

Anyone else facing similar issues?

Thanks for your post.

The strategies still showing as active when there is a disconnect with IB is being looked into by development.
As far as when you need to restart NinjaTrader and resync your strategies I would recommend checking the sync options available within NinjaTrader.
