Replayer not working properly

    Replayer not working properly

    I need help to get the Replayer to work. It connects alright but the little box (I don't know how to call it - it's the one which usually shows and where I tell it what day and time to pull up) does not show and the charts are not populated. See attached image.

    What I tried already:
    a. Repair the DB.
    b. Reset the DB.
    c. Clean up the Replay data by going into the db folder and deleting Tick, Minute, Day folders.
    d. I deleted past Replay data and right now only have Replay data for 15 and 16 May for instruments: 6A, 6J, CL and TF.

    And I closed and re-started NT in between the various steps.

    What else should/could I do.

    Hello,

    Is it possible the player controls are off screen? When you click on the NinjaTrader icon in the Taskbar do you see the player listed?

      Good point tasker but I had checked that already and it's not there. Thanks anyway for your help.

        Are your charts on 24x7 or RTH?

        And I guess you redownloaded the deleted data?

          sledge. Charts are on "Use Instrument settings". I just changed one to Default 24/7 but it makes no difference. No, I did not re-download any deleted data. I had two days worth of data which I maintained. Do you think I should delete those too, and then re-download them?

            Thank you for your post.

            You will need to delete the _Workspaces file from your NinjaTrader 7 documents

            Please exit NinjaTrader and delete the _Workspaces.xml document from the following directory to restore the account selection.

            (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\workspaces\ _Workspaces.xml

            This will not delete your workspaces however if you have a workspace saved as Untitled1.xml, after restarting NinjaTrader please exit again without saving the workspace. Reopening NinjaTrader again will restore your Untitled1.xml workspace.

            Any other workspaces may be opened by going to File> Workspaces> Open Workspace.

                  Hello,

                  This is a result of an error in how NinjaTrader saves workspaces. Provided that you have deleted the _Workspaces file it is unlikely that you would encounter the error again.
