different prices

I noticed something quite strange when reviewing charts over the weekend. I have both a desktop and a laptop using Ninjatrader. The pricing on the 16th on both the laptop and desktop are the same but the prices on the 15th and before are different for the same contract. (CL)

I have rebooted, reset the database, etc. and still have a discrepancy.

For example... CL on 5/15/14 at 8:42 on my laptop is at 101.90 and on my desktop I have 101.73.

I know the contract just rolled and thought maybe that is the issue? Is it possible this is a server situation?

Thank you for your post.

Do both PC's use the same data source?

If so, please check the Merge Policy setting used for each PC. This setting is located within the Data tab of the Options menu. (Tools > Options > Data tab)

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I do use the same data source and checked to see what the merge policy setting was. I changed the desktop to the same setting as the laptop (mergeBackAdjusted) but the prices stayed as they were... different pricing previous to 5/16/14.

Can you think of anything else that might cause this?
