    Connected but data is not being updated

    Hi,

    I try to receive data from BBVA (BM) connected to IB. My data permissions are correct and I restarted ninja and TWS.

    I open a chart and I can load historical data but real time data is not loading. On the orders tab it happens the same, no real time data showing.

    To ensure data comes from DIRECT and not from SMART I set BBVA|BM as a symbol map. If I set BBVA only it doesn't work.

    Why real time data is not loading?

    Hello guillembm,

    Unfortunately the Bm exchange in NinjaTrader represents the Bursa Malaysia and not Bolsa de Madrid. There is no exchange listed for Bolsa de Madrid

    Are you able to receive data via SMART in TWS for this stock?

      If I set BBVA on the symbol map I receive nothing.

      I wonder if BM is really bursa malaysia? If I write BBVA|BM the historical data I receive is the right one for BBVA stock.

        Yes, the Bm exchange represents the Bursa Malaysia. Unfortunately we do not have an exchange listed for Bolsa de Madrid.

        Somehow these settings load historical data, however to receive realtime data we would need to support the exchange in NinjaTrader.

        I will forward the suggestion to support the Bolsa de Madrid exchange.

            Candles Missed

            Hi,
            The intervals are 1 min.
            I have problem with charts, every time when Open new chart or Reload Historical Data, the last candle in chart with the first that is closing, it has 3/4 min of difference and two candles not is showed. This is started today. After Reload, the old error is fixed and a new is showed like the pictures.

              Thank you for your post.

              This appears to be related to your PC clock time. Please use the steps below to change your Time Zone and sync the PC clock, note to set the server to time.nist.gov.
              • You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Press 'Change time zone...' Set the Time zone and press 'OK'.
              • Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

              Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

                I will do that. Today is not possible because BMF&Bovespa is closed, tomorrow morning, I will let you know about results.

                  Hello again,

                  unfortunately I'm experiencing this issue again with US and UK stocks. I can load historical data it's not updated.

                  I tried to reinstall ninja but the problem remains.

                    Hello Guillem,

                    Can you please let us know the following:
                    - Who are you connected to? You can check in the green box in the lower left corner of the control center.
                    - What interval for the Stocks are you using?

                    - Is there an error message listed in the log tab of the control center?
                    - What version are you using? Our current release is V7.0.1000.22 which you can check under Help--> About

                        Hello Guillem,

                        Can you send an email to support at NinjaTrader dot com and refer to this post.
                        Include in the email a screenshot of the Data Series window of one of the US Stocks you can't bring up.

                        Also, let us know what version of TWS you have installed, is this version 944.3?

                        Put in the subject 'For Vince'.

                        To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
