I'm confused.

1) Sim account has one open position (1 short contract)
2) Connected to OpenTick
3) Chart is open with OpenTick data streaming on chart.
4) Right-click to "Flatten everything".

I get a message that says, "There is no market data available to drive the simulation engine. Affected Order: Buy 1 Market".

What am I missing?

Chart is streaming ES 03-08

Right now, the price stays at 1301.75 (since the market has rolled over to ES 06-08).

I'm thinking that it should flatten everything.

There for sure is no data streaming for ES 03-08 since this instrument is expired. Please roll to ES 06-08: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...sContract.html

I closed the chart that was streaming ES 03-08.

Please check which instrument the message refers to and select this instrument on the control center. As you then see data streaming in (check for update of field "Last" on the control center) go to Accounts tab->Right click->Mark the position on this instrument->Close position.

As you try that on ES 03-08 you will see error message below.

Where exactly am I supposed to see the "Last" field? Which tab?

PnL on the Positions tab is blank. Does that mean anything?

PnL field on position tab is blanks as there is no streaming data coming in (same issue).

I selected ES 06-08. I can buy and sell ES 06-08. But the ES 03-08 position remains open.

I selected ES 03-08 to sell/close the ES 03-08 position and it won't do it.

Correct. You can not close the ES 03-08 position by Flatten All or Close position, since there is no streaming data coming in.

Please try Tools->Options->Simulator->Reset to clear out your sim account.
