Creating my own draw tool

Hi,

I've trawled through the forum but I couldn't find an answer to this question:

Can I implement my own draw tool much like the way I implement my own indicator/strategy? I think there're lots of people who're willing to pitch in their time to refine some of the draw tools. My gripe is that something simple like the price alert indicator has to have the price keyed in manually by the enduser, I thought it should be as easy as draw a horizontal line and then set an "alert when crossed" option.

I think Ninja is a great extensible platform and we're all willing to pitch in to make it even better.

Unfortunately at this time we do not provide support for custom coded drawing tools.

Possible product direction?

OK, I did guess that it's not supported so the 2 follow-on questions are:
1) Is there a product direction to open up the drawing tool?
Ninja evolves fast and I don't mind waiting for up to 6 months

2) If not "supported", is there a "way"? (much like how other folks integrate external inputs into indicators via file i/o)

2) NinjaScript is basically C# so generally all the tricks you can pull with C# you can pull in NinjaTrader, but again, it is beyond the level of what we can provide support for. Thank you for understanding.
