    No market data

    Hello,
    after spending quite a few hours trying to get IB to work with NT. I have been able to finally get them to connect. But market data only works with charts. I've also tried other data sources such as Kinetick. Here is a screenshot.



    Every other option under the "file" menu is blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

    Are there any errors in the Log Tab of the Control Center?

    Is AA the only instrument that does this?

      No symbols display correctly in NT, such as quotes…

        Magiklair,

        Please do a reset of your instruments

        To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

        Once done you will need to restart NinjaTrader.

          Okay, closed IB and reset NT as suggested. But no such luck.




          I'm running Windows 7 ultimate. 64-bit

            Magiklair,

            What version of Traders Workstation are you using?

            * To verify what version of Traders Workstation you currently have log into Traders Workstation
            * Under Help go to About Traders Workstation...
            * Scroll down and look for Build

            You also stated this does with Kinetick as well, can you show me what happens you try and use Kinetick.

            Is this the End of Day or Live connection?

              Yes, same with Kinetick as shown In the screenshots above.

                Magikliar,

                The Kinetick End of Day is expected not to get Intraday data.

                However, for your IB account. Can you please send a note to Support by going to Help -> Mail to Support
                Put in Attn Cal in the subject and a reference to this thread in the body.
