No chart loading

Hi, I'm new here, connected to IB, tried to load a future chart: NKD, Exp. 06-08, Days back 20, Last date 02.04.2008, Interval Settings 1 day. When pressing OK, a window says loading data but on the chart window no chart image appears, only one long black line. Can someone help me? Thanks.

IB only provides historical data for live accounts.

You can find a full summary of the data provided by each datafeed provider in the following link:

If you know you have access to historical data through IB then you can try a historical data reload by going to Tools--> Historical Data--> Reload.

Questions

1. We do have an IB live account. Why can we open only some charts and others not?
2. In our file menu the point "workspaces" is missing. How can we save our workspaces/charts?
3. Is it possible to import a .txt-file and unite these historical data to the chart which is being built by IB data?
4. Is it possible to change/add bars manually somewhere?

1) Please send me the symbols that aren't working to support AT ninjatrader DOT com and I will send you the setup.

2) If you are on 6.5 you should have this option. Please let me know what version you are using when you send the above symbols (Help--> About).

3) Here are the instructions to import historical data:

4) No this is not supported but you can import additional data with the instructions in the link above.

I have same problem.. will sort of. I get historical data for time based intervals but when I try to goto range bars, I only get current bar data and no historical data.

Unfortunately, IB does not support historical tick data. They only support historical minute and daily data as you can see in the link below.
