Hello,

how can I disable per default this link-button please that overlays my toolbar (as shown in the attached screenshot). This overlays my buttons.

Thank you for your forum post.


From the screenshot it looks like these buttons are part of a 3rd party indicator.

You can check the settings of the indicator to see if you can move the location of the buttons:

• Right mouse click on the chart background > Indicators...
• Highlight the indicator on the bottom left hand corner of the Indicator's window > Edit the parameters on the right hand side
• Click OK when finished

• How to edit an Indicator's Parameters

Otherwise you will need to make the chart window larger to allow room for both the indicator buttons and the link button as there is not a way to disable the link button from appearing on the title bar.

thank you for your reply.

The buttons are proudly made on my own.

The NinjaTrader "L"-Button appears this way on my computer with Win7. On my computer with winXP the L appears with more little size above the chart.

The "L" inside the chart appears also if the chart would be larger.

And the "L" appears also on a chart where I have not enabled my trade-buttons. I think you know how NinjaTrader plots the L in WinXP and Win7.

You can troubleshoot this title bar item further in Windows 7 by checking to see if the size of text on the screen is set to 100% or larger:

• Right mouse click on the desktop > Screen Resolution
• Make text and other objects larger or smaller
• Make sure this setting is set to Smaller - 100% (Default)
• Click OK when finished

thank you for your reply. I have done so. But the button appear again. I send now another screenshot without any customized toolbar and without customized buttons.

How can I remove this NT-Button please that overlays informations (or disable "always on top")

In this case you will need to make the chart window larger to allow room for both the indicator buttons and the link button as there is not a way to disable the link button from appearing on the title bar.

To disable Always on top:

• Right mouse click on the chart background > Left mouse click "Always on top" if it has a check mark next to it to remove the check mark.
