    Can't import ninjascript

Looks like I have some errors in some old files and appear to be unable in removing them: http://screencast.com/t/atjbO8wp

    Any advice please?

    Hello plemal,

    Thank you for your post.

Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling the indicator. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you are wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader always compiles all indicators and strategies - not just one. This is done to give you the highest runtime performance possible.
    • Open NinjaTrader
    • From the Control Center select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select Indicator
    • Select any indicator and double click on it (we need only to open and compile one script to see all compile errors for all files).
    • A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicators.
    • At the bottom of the window a new section will appear where you can find the error locations.
    • From there you have the option to comment out offending code sections, remove the complete indicator or debug it to be able to compile again.

If you are unsure as to what the error is indicating, please send me a screenshot of the error with the name and description fields clearly readable.
To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
We have also collected more comprehensive steps for resolving NinjaScript programming errors in this tip on our forums - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ead.php?t=4678

If you would like further assistance with this item, please send a screenshot with the error field expanded and totally visible to support(at)ninjatrader(dot)com. Put ATTN Zach as the subject, and a link to this forum thread in the body of the email.

Zach-looks like that part was helpful but can't find the particular files to delete:

Free online storage and sharing with Screencast.com. 2 GB of storage and 2 GB of bandwidth per month for free. We won't compress, alter or take ownership of your content.

      Thanks for your help!

        Hello Paul,

        Thank you for your response.

This error code is indicating that there are references to files that no longer exist within NinjaTrader. You will want to right-click in the compiler (the screen that displays the errors) and select references. Select the reference with a single left click and select "Delete". Repeat for each additional reference. Once you've removed the references listed in the error messages, press F5 to compile and see if any other errors occur.

Yes but the error messages are still there and the references section does not show them so am unable to delete them:

            Hello,

            Thank you for your response.

This is a different error indicating that you now need to add a reference to SharkIndicators. You will right-click, select "References", select "Add" and find the .dll file for SharkIndicators.

              almost there with this fix

Still one showing up but no .dll in the folder:

                Hey Paul,

                Thank you for your response.

Do you have NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll in your list of references? If not, you will want to add this one. If you continue to experience an error, send an email to support(at)ninjatrader(dot)com and we can schedule a remote session.

                              Hello PanamaJack,

                              Thank you for your reply.

For this error in particular, please go to (My) Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> bin -> Custom -> Indicator. Find the "CCI_Forecaster_DE.cs" file, select it with a left-click and drag and drop it onto your desktop. Now, recompile and you should be error free.
