NinjaTrader chart is different from FXCM chart

I'm using FXCM as my account connection and I'm charting the EUR/USD 5 min chart with NinjaTrader and I'm also charting the EUR/USD with FXCM but the two charts are identical. Why are the two charts not identical?

Can you provide a screen shot of both the charts so we can see the differences?

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Additionally, what historical data server are you using within NinjaTrader?

Tools -> Account Connections -> your FXCM connection -> Change
Follow the guide to see which Historical Data server selection is used.

I'm using NinjaTrader servers but if I switch to FXCM servers the two charts are even more different.

Hello,

The charts are nearly the same, but you are getting a sub-pip quote from the FXCM chart.

Please change your Quote FX setting within NinjaTrader.

Tools -> Options -> Data tab -> Quote FX -> Tenth pip.

Restart NinjaTrader and reconnect.

I'm having chart inconsistencies between NinjaTrader and FXCM. I have my Account Connection established with FXCM and I have "Quote currencies (FX) in" set to "TenthPip". I have attached a screenshot for show.

the prices aren't the same example: NinjaTrader 07/08/2014 19:10 High 1.36216, FXCM 07/08/2014 19:10 High 1.36218

Thank you for the clarification.

Is your FXCM connection set to use the NinjaTrader or FXCM historical data servers?

Note that there can be slight discrepancies when using different servers.
