    Loss of orders on chart - IB

    Not sure if this has been noticed by anyone else yet, and I believe the only thing i have changed was a TWS upgrade to not even the most current build, but what is happeneing is as follows.

    TWS build: 943.2a Feb 10, 2014
    NT: 64bit 7.0.1000.11

    Example: I have an ES gtc order outstanding. I can 'see' in in TWS as well as NT chart.

    Upon the 'thing' that IB does @ mid-night (NOT the forced disconnect @ 10PM) the orders in the chart goes away.

    The simple fix is to disconnect from IB and reconnect... but it never used to be that way.

    The mid-night 'reset' clears the day's PnL etc and starts afresh for the following day and this is where/when it happens.

    You can still see and act on all orders within TWS.

    Please upgrade NinjaTrader to the current release, NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.23.

    You can do this by going to Help > License Key and coping your license key.

    Closing NinjaTrader and following the link below. You will need to enter in your license key to reach the downloads page.

      Chris, is this a known fix or just what you would like us to do regardless.

        Hello Steve R,

        This is not a know issue.

        You will want to upgrade as there have been changes made to the IB connection in NinjaTrader.

        Please upgrade and let us know if you continue to experience the same.
