    Chart Freezing

I've been using Ninja Trader with CQG and AMP for a couple years with very few problems. Last Thursday, June 12, I started having issues with my chart freezing. This was the same day that the notice popped up for contract rollover from 6/14 to 9/14. Currently I trade the ES mini.

The problem I am having relates to my chart freezing after I manually set a buy or sell limit, whether I use the superdome or set the trade manually. I'm able to set the trade, however, as soon as price reaches entry, the chart freezes. I've switched over to the ES 09-14, uninstalled and re-installed Ninja Trader, even cleaned pc and ninja cached data. I'm frustrated and can't seem to figure out the issues. Any help would be appreciated.

I am currently experiencing the same issue. Go into your log tab and see if you have multiple instances of price feed disconnects as I have. Reloading historical data seems to repopulate, at least until the next disconnect of course.

          Hello Joescott,

Thank you for the follow up and I am glad to hear the situation was resolved.

For anyone who is curious about this situation, it was caused by the data provider returning a position/execution on the ES instrument to NinjaTrader with an incorrect name of "EP"

The resolution for this situation was to remove the incorrect instrument from the NinjaTrader Instrument Manager and then reset the instruments.

Hi Ryan, I just read this thread. I'm having similar problems, I use AMP Futures as a broker and CQG data provided through NT. As soon as I enter a order live all charts freeze, but only when I'm live, it doesnt happen on simulator. Could you please assist me with this? Thanks in advance for your time

                  Adrian
