    Login failed: Please check your...

    Hi,

    I've just started NT (ver 6.0.1000.9) and got the error message below:

    "Login failed: Please check your account connection parameters and your internet connection."

    I'm sim.trading using Zenfire with Dorman Trading LLC as my broker.

    I haven't had NT running since 19/03/08 and nothing my end has changed.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    Can you check your firewall, make sure NinjaTrader is granted access to the internet.
    If needed, disable your firewall, re-enter the license and then try to connect again.

    Can you also upgrade to our current production release V6.0.1000.10. You can do this from our website in the download section.

      Hi Vincent,

      Thanks for the prompt response.

      Latest ver. installed and firewall checked as requested but still no connection. I also have an OT connection and that connects fine, its just the Zenfire connection..

        Hi Matt,

        Could it be you have an old username or password for your account?

        Can you send me a note at support at ninjatrader dot com with your login credentials so I can test on my end.

              I have the same problem with ampfutures zenfire feed

              Hello I have the same login problems with the 6.5 release, my zenfire connection with amp futures does not connect anymore.

              However the zenfire feed on my second pc with mirusfutures is working.

              Did anyone find a solution to this problem?

                Hello Peter,

                Please check for any software, such as (corporate) firewall, pop up blockers or anti-virus software, that could be blocking NinjaTrader to connect.

                In addition, please ensure you enter the correct login information upon creating the account connection for Zen-Fire.

                  When using the Zen-Fire feed with my mirusfutures account I have no problems signing in, so only the demo account from ampfutures seams to be currently not working...

                  I emailed the support at ampfutures about this issue, but no response yet.

                  BTW the ninjatrader support is great, I am always getting response within minutes, even at night!!!
