Singapore Nikkei Chart???

Can I get some help to configure the instrument manager for the Singapore Nikkei futures contract please. The charts won't display.

I have attached screen prints of the values I am using in the instrument manager as well as the contract details provided by IB.

Do I need to subscribe to the market data?

I followed the screenshot as provided by Barbara but I was hit with the following error msg:
"Requested market data is not subscribed.Error&OSE.JPN/FUT/Top(354)"

Sorry, there're lots of feed to look at but I'd always thought it's "free" to IB customers (I know I have to pay for others like DAX though...)

The error message is for the Osaka Securities Exchange (OSE.JPN), the OSE data is not free at IB.
You shouldn't get an error message for OSE.JPN if your instrument setup is correct.

Please look if you have only checked the Sgx Exchange in the Instrument Editor.
You have to subscribe for the free SGX data at IB.
Try charting the SGXNK (=Underlying) June 2008 futures in the TWS.

Have checked but dont' know what's wrong

I thought it was very straightforward but I still can't get it working.

Please look at the screenshots. I have only checked SGX as the only exchange and I'm sure I have put in the correct symbol for IB and I can definitely access SGX data because I can see the data on IB but I just can't get it working on Ninja....

I see that you now have a different error message:
"Error in requesting historial data from IB: No security definition has been found for the request(200)"

Maybe you have a blank in your symbol mapping for IB, like "SGXNK "

Be sure to chart the "NK 06-08" (the 05-08 has no data)

Thanks Barb, I don't know what I did but I decided to start from scratch and this time it's working. But I still can't get my SSG going but that's from another thread.
