    "cannot connect to ninja servers"

I have an issue with my connection. It keeps saying that it "cannot connect to ninja's servers. Enter back door code here". Can anyone help with what that is? I have never experienced this issue before. I was told it could be a firewall issue. Also. It's on a MAC.

    Hello,

The invalid backdoor code happens when your computer cannot connect to our licensing servers.

Our servers are in fact up and running, could you temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus programs you may be running and restart NinjaTrader to see if that solves this issue.

If you have not yet, please restart your PC and any other Network hardware such as modems or routers.

      Hello Keyser Soze,

There are three main reasons why this message appears.

      - Your license is invalid.

      - The license key has been entered incorrectly. Please ensure that an incorrect character or space has not been entered at the end of your license key. Also, if the character "@" is present in the License Key we sent you, please include that as well, as it is part of the key.

      - The most common reason is that a firewall on your PC or on the network your computer is on is preventing NinjaTrader from accessing our license servers. To test this, please disable all firewalls and then restart NinjaTrader and see if it works. If yes, you just need to add ninjatrader.com to the exception list (safe list) for your firewall software

Please let me know if this helps to resolve the situation or if I can provide any further assistance.

          Thank you for the update.

Is this your normal internet connection or are you using a different connection?

Can you try connecting to another wireless network in your area?
