Cannot Connect to AMP
Hey guys, I signed for an AMP futures account and for some reason it won't connect from Ninjatrader. Its been a few days since I wired in the money. I set up trading with TTnet trading platform, but unfortunately AMP tech support does not seem to be able to connect me. Any ideas?Tags: None

It's version 7.0.1000.16
Whenever I try to connect, it just does not turn green but just says "connecting"

Hello elitetradernyc,
Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.
Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
Select the "Data" tab
Press the "Repair DB" button
Press the "OK" button
Then upgrade NinjaTrader.
You can do this by going in NinjaTrader to Help > License Key and coping your license key.
Then closing NinjaTrader and following the link below. You will need to enter in your license key to reach the downloads page.

I just noticed that it says " Current License Type= SimulationOnly doesn't this need to say Live? I purchased a live license about 2 months ago.

I completed these steps and upgraded, unfortunately, that did not solve it, any other ideas?

In the message, please include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.
2.) Your most current trace and log files.
3.) Your config file
You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7-> Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt
Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt
You will find your configuration file in the following directory: (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\config.xmlChristopher S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hey guys, thanks for the advice, I am now able to get the green connection to AMP via the TradingTechnologies channel, but my live accounts do not show under the accounts tab, how do I view them?

Hello,
The account must be set manually when the connection is configured. Please remove and recreate your connection:
- Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections--> highlight the connection--> click Remove
- Restart NinjaTrader
- Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections and recreate the account connection.
