Can't connect to CQG Demo

Hi.

With my normal DSL Connection (IP: 46.223.6.xxx) I can't connect to CQG demo.

The only way to connect is via a VPN Provider. His IP is: 109.201.143.96

Why is that?

Does CQG block my ISP (Kabel BW from Germany)?

Hi,

looks like a backbone in probably France has problems (telia.net).

Check it yourself: Windows Powershell -> tracert cqginchi032i.cqgnet.com

As sandmann23 mentions, unfortunately there seem to be some ISP backbone issues, which cause CQG/Continuum/NinjaTrader Continuum demo connections not being able to connect successful. We are able to reproduce the issue when testing demo connections in Hungary, while the same demo connections connect successful in Germany.

If possible, I suggest to try a different internet connection and check if this allows you to connect.

But I still can't login.

Thank you for your response.

Please restart your PC --> unplug your modem and router --> plug the modem and router back in to restart them --> then start NinjaTrader and attempt to connect again.

Did work but:

It's really strange:

first I have to login via a VPN provider, then disconnect his connection.

After that NT autom. connects vie my DSL ISP to CQG and only then it works.

Login attempt was not successful - APM CQG demo

I opened a CQG demo account in APM futures but my login attempt for several times was unsuccessful. I registered once again with the same email address and CQG sent me another demo login credentials. Unfortunately, I got the same result.

Site message: "Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again"
