Account does not work/Problem with Mail to Support

    Hi,
    I have two issues.
    1. I'm connected to Continuum but my account only shows simulation. I cannot choose my own account. The drop down menu does not work. I've done already transactions in past.
    2. I cannot send an email under Help - Mail to Support. It does not work.

    Please help.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

1.) First, please make sure your Live license is entered under Help -> License Key, then go to the File menu and uncheck Global Simulation Mode. After this open up a SuperDOM window or Chart trader and you will be able to toggle between your Live account(s) and the Sim 101 account.

2.) It is likely that the email settings within Misc tab of the Options menu have not yet been set. Please follow the steps which are outlined at the following link when configuring NinjaTrader to send emails: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...008#post262008

Incorrect Settings for Yahoo Mail Port

The information in the settings for Yahoo! mail is incorrect in this 'closed' post.

Below is a list of known e-mail settings and information demonstrating configuring e-mail alerts within NinjaTrader. Included are settings which have been tested with basic accounts. Please ensure that your settings are configured identically to those included, as some only use the beginning of the e-mail address and do not

The correct port for Yahoo! is 587.

They should re-open the post and correct the information. All of the other information is correct. Just the port is incorrect - it may be because Yahoo! has upgraded it's mail service over the last two years. The incorrect port was listed as (465).
