IB order rejected

    IB order rejected

    Hello,

    Yesterday I missed a trade because the order from NT was rejected. The log says that the order did not comply with IB's order handling rules for derivatives with physical delivery (ZS-07-14) and that I could refer to IBs website for details.

    I wonder if someone could explain me what happened and how I prevent it from happening again.

    Hello Marco,

    Can you please send me your log and trace files, so I can investigate. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support. Put 'Att Jason, IB order rejected' in the subject header and enable 'Log and trace files'.

    Please include around what time the order got rejected as well.

      I just sent you the log files. The order was rejected on 02/07/2014 at 13:56:15.

        Unfortunately I have not received the files so far. Did you experience a pop up message that informed the files were sent successful? If not, please send me the log and trace files manually.

        Log and trace files can be found at the following locations. Please attach the files in your email and send it to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com. Put 'Att Jason, IB order rejected' in the subject header.

        C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20140702 for yesterday. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

        C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20140702 for yesterday. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)
