Open Price Not Getting from IB API

Hi,

I am using the IB API for real time data. Unfortunately, In real time the OPEN price is not getting in the column (Opening) of Market Analyzer. Instead of that I used Indicator method CurrentDayOHL().CurrentOpen[0], then the value is getting different from the IB API. And I compared this value to TWS Analyzer Open price and in the Google chart. Both TWS and Google's Open prices are same and correct.

Please help me out. I would like to solve this problem its effect my trading decision.

Are you comparing intra-day data to daily data?

What session template is chosen for the intra-day data?

Do the open and close session times match the TWS chart?

What instrument are you viewing? What interval are you viewing this on?

What is the open you are getting with TWS? What is the open you get with NT?

1) I am comparing daily data ninjatrader to other daily data.

2) I have chosen NSE (Indian Stock Market) template which is inbuilt in ninjatrader.

3) I never match yet open and close session times the TWS chart. And how do I check it ? I dont know.

4) I am viewing Indian Equity market. And viewing daily interval means daily bar chart.

What is the open you are getting with TWS? What is the open you get with NT?

Hi Sameer,

The CurrentDayOHL indicator will not work on Daily bars.

Are you sure that you are using a Daily bar on your chart with the CurrentDayOHL indicator?
