WFO not showing any results

    WFO not showing any results

    Morning,

    Yesterday I ran 2 WFO and both times the results were blank. I look at the chart and the data is fine, a back test shows results and when I apply the strategy to a chart I can see trades.

    What could be causing this?

    Hi GKonheiser, you mean it did not take any trade during the test time frame range then? What chart were you on and what range did you choose?

      I was on FGBL 06-14, date range was 2/3/2014 to 6/62014, 1min chart.

      Exactly it didn't take any trades, but when I do a backtest it does.

        Thanks, but what I meant was what optimization and test period windows did you setup?

          OK opt period was 14 days test period was 10 days

          Its an intraday algo

            It could be an intraday system, yet it could need several days of intraday data to arrive at meaningful indicator outputs perhaps? So lets say if you were to double those parameters, any change?

              try it and get back to you, i suspect not thou as it trades several times a day. will take a few hours to run.

                Hi, I am now getting results in the Walk Forward tab but the Optimizer tab is not showing any results?

                This morning I tested a WFO with the same contract and parameters on a second PC and still im seeing no data in the Optimizer tab.

                          AnotherTrader, unfortunately I do not recall the specifics right now. Could you perhaps share a screenshot of your settings / setup used where you would miss results?
