NT7 can't load Nasdaq.NMS exchange tickers

I have IB data feed TWS connected to NT7 and I can see Nasdaq.NMS data and charts in my TWS platform, but I can't load the ticker in the instrument manager. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you for your post.

You will need to create the NCMP in NinjaTrader and add the symbol mapping for Interactive Brokers.

Please follow the instructions below to add the instrument in the NinjaTrader 7 Instrument Manager.

• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
• Press the "New" button
• Enter instrument specific information and select the appropriate exchange.
• Fill in any relevant information under the "Misc" tab, including the symbol mapping
• Press the "OK" button

The symbol mapping for Interactive Brokers is NCMP. Please refer to the attached screenshot.

Ok, how do I do this in bulk for all Nasdaq and NYSE stocks? As you can imagine it would take forever doing this one at a time.

Thank you for your response.

For stocks you can use the Import Stock Symbol List option under File > Utilities. This will allow you to import multiple stocks under the same exchange at once. This will not work for other instrument types though, so no Indexes or Futures for example.
