    failed to unzip server data

    Hi,

    during backtesting my strategy on ES data ( imported tick data 2003-2013) i do get the message;

    Failed to unzip server data, see attachement.
    All the historical data was imported succesfully..

    Although i backtested over 07-2009 till 07-2014, the results in summary and the chart only reflecteer 07-2013 till 07-2014

    1. i use 7.0.1000.24
    2. i use continuüm
    3. if i open a chart ( whitout any indicators i still only het around 360 days, although 1000 requested.


    What's the issue here?

    Thank you for your post.

    Is the data in fact available in the Historical Data Manager > Edit tab going back to 2003 for Tick data?

    This message has been seen in the past, may I ask what Time Zone and Region your PC is set to?

      Hi Patrick,

      no, you're correct, only from 09-13 onwards.
      So where is my data?

      After it was imported succesfully, i have seen charts with the 2003 data...

      im in amsterdam

            Thank you for your response.

            The historical tick data form CQG would only go back one year on the NinjaTrader Historical Data Servers. I receive the same message when requesting data back to 2003 from CQG.

            Was the tick data you had previously imported from another source?

              Yes i've bought these data from anfutures and succeeded importing the historical data last weekend

                  im not sure what you mean with re-import.

                  We did import the data package last weekend and noted it was imported succesfully. We were also able to view this data in a chart.

                  We suddenly seem to have lost the data, since it's doesn't appear in the 'edit' page nor in a chart or backtest.
                  In the instrument manager all the data is visible (52 quarters)

                  I did not try to re-import, since this is a lot of work..

                    Thank you for your response.

                    Please import the data again --> make sure you are not connect to Continuum --> then open a chart back to 2003 for the desired instrument(s).

                      Do you have any idea WHY imported data is no longer available, while i got the message I succesfully imported the data 53 times!!??

                      Or can we find it somewhere..

                        Would it be possible to provide the file you are importing?

                        Can you also advise if the data you are importing is Tick, Minute or Daily data?
