Best Way to Get MA to Update Values After Indicator Changes

Howdy--

I'm working on changing indicator code to better indicate a few things that I want to look for in MA, but when I recompile the indicator (F5) the MA window does not immediately update. What is the trick to get the MA window to update with the newly compiled code?

Thank you for your forum post.


After you change the NinjaScript code you will need to reload the NinjaScript on the Market Analyzer by making sure it's your active window by left mouse clicking on the title bar and then pressing F5 on your keyboard. Otherwise you can right mouse click on the Market Analyzer background > Reload NinjaScript.

Yeah I've tried this and couldn't get it to work. My work around for the time being is to right click the MA window, then go to Columns..., and then just click OK, which will refresh the MA window immediately.

If you create a new market analyzer window, does this new window update NinjaScript as expected when right mouse clicking > Reload NinjaScript or pressing F5?

No, the only way I have been able to get the MA window to refresh after an indicator and chart compile is to go into Columns... and then press Ok, which immediately refreshes the MA window.
