Delete account numbers

Hi,

I've noticed that when selecting an account to link to strategy, it remembers all the demo/live accounts I've ever created. Is there a way to delete these accounts?

Note: I'm not referring to the account connections, but really the account number you select when enabling a strategy.

Hello,

Thank you for the question.

The accounts in the dropdown list are located in the Database within NinjaTrader.
For removing old accounts from NinjaTrader you could do the following:

• Disconnect from your data provider /s
• Click Tools
• Click Options
• Click the Data Tab
• Click Reset Database.
• Close the settings panel
• Check in NinjaTrader to ensure the history has been cleared.
• Restart NinjaTrader and reconnect.

This will clear Historical orders, Executions and ATM strategy data along with the accounts.

This should remove all occurrences of the old accounts.

If this does not work you could try to re create the database but this would lose ATM strategies and any custom instruments you may have.

If you were to do this, you would need to do the following:

• Exit NinjaTrader
• Navigate to Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db
• Rename NinjaTrader.sdf to NinjaTraderOld.sdf
• Restart NinjaTrader
