    New version email

    Greetings. After installing the new NT version on my VPS my mail no longer sends. It continues to work on my non-VPS machine. Thoughts? It worked fine on the VPS before the reinstall following the upgrade. Thanks.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    Please ensure that the email settings which you are using within the Options menu's Misc tab are the correct settings for your email provider. (Tools > Options > Misc)

      I have. Same settings that work on my non-VPS NT do not work on the VPS.

          Not sure if this helps but if your non-VPS machine has an older version (pre 7.0.1000.16) of NinjaTrader then this may explain what you're seeing, as from 7.0.1000.16 need to now setup the email servers in Tools/Options area as Kyle mentioned, whereas prior to this version that wasn't always necessary.

              Hello jeremiah,


              Thank you for the follow up.


              Are you able to send the email while using port 25?


              After making and changes to the settings, click "OK" to close the Misc window and then re-open the window from Control Center > Tools > Options > Misc tab and re-test sending the email.


              Please let me know if this helps to resolve the situation or if I can provide any further assistance.
